About Special Recreation Services Inc.
Our History
Special Recreation Services, Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to enhancing the everyday lives of differently-abled individuals by providing health, wellness, habilitation, recreational, social and volunteer opportunities and activities for adults (18+) who are intellectually disabled, autistic and/or mentally ill. Special Recreation Services Inc. was founded in 1987 by a group of mental health professionals who saw a need for more accessible mental health resources in our community.
Our Team
Our team is made up of licensed therapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals who are passionate about supporting mental health and wellness in our community.
